I advise friends, family and clients who are new to home buying because they admittedly are NERVOUS because they are in the dark with it comes to the timeline of buying a home. It's OK! When you are new to a new subject, it can be intimating. It's natural to be cautious to enter into something unknown. Especially when you are talking about spending a LOT on what will become your home. Here is a great graphic to help learn about costs that may be unknown to buyers.
Although most homebuyers know they'll need to pay for various fees and services, some of which will be included in closing costs, some buyers may overlook the smaller fees that get mixed into th home purchase. Here are some of the lesser-known fees to homeownership that buyers should budget for, including these.

Despite affordablity challenges, California renters continue to hold homeownership in high regard and aspire to purchase a home eventually.
These misconceptions result in many renters delaying their home purchase or possibly giving up on the dream of homeownership.
